It had to happen sooner or later the way Google has been acting lately. Google seems to have stepped up their efforts to block our automated search system. One of the traditional fixes of redirecting searches through proxies seems not to be working so well anymore. Over the next few weeks we will be experimenting with some new ways of dealing with the challenges Google has thrown our way. If we can find a solution to being constantly blocked by Google we will continue SerpTracker.org, if no economical solution can be found we will have no choice but to either track SERPs more slowly (maybe weekly) or close SerpTracker.org. Hopefully the next update to this page can be on a more positive note.
Weekly email updates have been disabled for the moment.
Apologies for the downtime. There was a problem with tracking for the last 10 days. Finally it has been resolved with a partial rewrite of the tracking script. Tracking should now be working better than ever!!

Some of you may have noticed the Australian searches have been not working properly for the last month or so due to some proxy problems. The issue has now been dealt with and we have changed proxy and Australian searches should now start tracking again as of tonight! Apologies for the lack of data over the last month.
For the past few days the tracker has not been ranking Australian searches due to our Australian based proxy being down. The proxy issue has been resolved and all Australian searches will be tracking as expected within 24 hours.
By request Google Singapore search options have been added
In the last few days the tracking system has been changed to add some new features and while testing the new script some searches did not get recorded properly. This problem should now be resolved for tracking tomorrow.

It seems some Yahoo results were incorrectly recorded as position no. 1 last night. We have looked into this and it should now be fixed for the next update. We have also removed all Yahoo position data for the last two days, and re-scanned today, so averages and max / min data is not affected.
Noticed Yahoo Canada results were having the same problem as UK and DE. Issue has been fixed and Yahoo Canada results will update correctly within 24 hours.
We noticed today that position results for Yahoo UK and DE searches did not update correctly yesterday. Traced the error down to a single character that was ommited from the tracking script. Has now been fixed and the correct results for Yahoo UK and DE should be recorded later today
Serp Tracker goes live
